Acidic Gel Cleaner for Ferrous Metals
DuJEL 200 is an acid gel with an encapsulated mineral acid base. It is used to remove rust, laser scale, and heat/mill scale from ferrous metals. It has low odor, does not release irritating fumes and since the acid is encapsulated, it is not as corrosive as other mineral acid based products. DuJEL 200 clings to vertical surfaces to obtain optimal prolonged reaction time with the targeted rust, or scale deposit. It is free rinsing and is easily removed with cold, warm or hot water. In metal fabrication DuJEL 200 has eliminated sand blasting and grinding, greatly reducing labor costs. When compared to typical water viscous chemistries, DuJEL 200 saves on chemical costs because of the extended dwell time.
